ANNOUNCEMENT
Presentation to Dr. J. F. Larchet
After twenty-seven years’ service as Director of the Theatre’s Orchestra, Dr. J. F. Larchet retires from that position at the end of this year. It is the intention of his Abbey friends to present him with his portrait painted by Mr. Sean O’Sullivan, R. H. A., and in this connection a performance has been arranged for Sunday, 29th December, 1935 at 8.15 p.m. the proceeds of which will be devoted to this object.
The Directors feel certain that the public which has derived so much enjoyment from his work through all these years will welcome this opportunity of showing their appreciation.
